UK Study


The UK is made up of four countries which are England, Scotland, Wales and Northe Ireland. Each country has its own distinct identity and language. While English is the main language spoken in the UK, other languages include Welsh, Irish, Ulster Scots, Coish, Scots and Scottish Gaelic.
Govement-
The govement runs the country. It has responsibility for developing and implementing policy and for drafting laws. It is also known as the Executive. Parliament is the highest legislative authority in the UK. It has responsibility for checking the work of govement and examining, debating and approving new laws. It is also known as the Legislature.
